Trinidad Ignacio Luis Octavio, aka “Tilo the Cat” was born on July 1, 2007 to the Ramirez Family. He was born at home, in the laundry room to be exact. He had five siblings.

Tilo was different right from the start. He preferred people, namely me, over cats. He was a loner, the rebel of the litter. In fact, he spent more time hanging out with me than with his brothers and sisters. This may explain his strange behavior and odd personality. He also is not aware he is a cat. So, we take special preautions to keep him from finding out.

Tilo loves bubble baths, especially really hot ones. At our house it is important to shut the bathroom door tightly when taking a bath because he may just jump in with you.

Tilo also loves sweet tea, hot or cold, doesn’t matter. He will drink yours if you don’t pour him his own glass.

Swimming is another one of his favorite things to do. However, her doesn’t swim alone, always with family. He has also been known to jump off the diving board or slide down the waterslide.

Sunbathing, bug-chasing, and playing with his amigo Kitty Carlos are a few of his favorite pastimes.

Unfortunately, Tilo does have a dark side. Turns out he’s a bit of a scrapper. However, he has only been arrested once for roughing up my Tia Norma’s poodle. The whole story is in the second book, “Tilo the Cat Gets Arrested.”

All in all, Tilo is a wonderful pet. He is a bit eccentric, but thats part of his charm.
